Does your blog content need to be consistently high
We all occasionally write content that is really not up to scratch and hope that our greater efforts will balance out the ledger.
However, you would really be wrong if you used this as your platform to the theory that more blogs are better.
In a recent update, Google stated that they considered overall quality and not just concentrating on your good work as the yardstick.
This is an important issue because too many undervalue posts will reduce your performance rating and thus gather fewer page one positions.
Simply answer the question or solve a problem

When people use a search term on Google they are looking for an answer. It may be what is the best Air Purifier or how old is Brittany Spiers? However, it is always looking for a result and your job is to provide the answer.
Content is short sentences and short paragraphs and not rambling prose or long posts. Importantly it can still contain a story if constructed correctly.
Your content is for the reader's benefit and they want answers, however, keeping them on the page becomes an art form in short-form writing.
Do you provide the answer early or late in the post
This really depends on the question and how you want to go about it.
How old is Brittany Spears may have a simple answer 40 and was born Dec 2-1981.
You may then ramble on about her life however the job was done right at the start of the blog.
However, “what is the best Air Purifier” may solicit a long-winded answer.
With hundreds of purifiers available we short-listed four etc. Finishing with your answer and your reasons why you chose four and compared results to come up with a winner.
The best ways to improve your blog content is to have a purpose
Define your purpose for blogging
This is a really important issue because your answers will be constructed around your purpose.
If you have a business blog you will likely want to redirect readers to a sales-based page.
Firstly it is always important to have a call to action for those that want to take the next step.
This is a soft sell that will take your reader to where they have indicated a need for action.
Affiliate marketers will suggest further reading where the new site will be the sales page.
Volume sites that depend on advertising income may give those quick answers and rely on popups to grab some attention and income.
How many words in a great blog post

Again it will depend on the purpose of the blog. However, it must also answer the question asked and provide reasons to support the answer.
Yoast SEO states that a minimum of 300 words is necessary for great SEO as described by Google. However, most training sites will nominate 1300 or more words as the ideal length.
It may be hard to write more than 300 about Brittanie's birthdate however difficult to contain a couple of thousand words on my Purifiers in a good review.
It is important that time spent on the page is a Google ranking item that covers a lot of weight. Therefore more is always better.
One trick is to have all your links ( that are not designated as No-Follow) marked as “Open in new tab” The reason is that after looking at a linked page they are returned to your current article for more reading thus gaining extra chances.
Best ways to improve your blog content with authority
Using authority to boost credibility
Google loves to recommend reading from those in high authority. This is natural because they want an answer that really represents fact. A Doctor for example will be used for medical statements and a Lawyer for legal matters.
However, even they can be usurped by The Medical School and Law College as a higher level of respect.
Interestingly the humble Wikipedia carries a lot of weight because of the massive amount of contribution that goes into it.
You can gain authority by referencing higher opinions as examples of research and thus borrowing some of the power contributed by them.
We will show this further below under the Links that matter.
Let's not forget the importance of Keywords
Without a doubt the single biggest contributor to blogging success.
Most readers never move past items one, two, and three on the first page of a search term, and that excludes the paid searches that follow in order.
Therefore your whole aim is to find a first-place position. This is achieved, in part, by juggling the dynamics of traffic and competition. You need some traffic but not too much and the less competition the better.
We find this balance by using Keyword tools, like Jaaxy, that tells us everything we need to know.
The better you understand the Keyword rules the greater your chance of success.
Keywords rank before all else.
The four links that make a difference

Internal linking | Other sites within your blog |
External linking | To further work you have done to support your words |
Authority linking | Referencing higher authority to show research |
Financial returns | The moneymakers |
Both Yoast SEO and AIO SEO insist on the first three to be used to credit your SEO score with a Green tick of success.
Using good link structure also increases the time on the page result, another Google plus mark.

All financial links should be shown as “Do Not Follow links” because Google does not want to extend their search to sales-based sites. If you do not follow this simple rule you will be penalised by Google.
Analyse your results and learn from the experience

This is an Oft-forgotten part of the procedure. Looking back and seeing what worked and what did not. Plus and importantly learning from it.
I use the Jaaxy page ranker to find my position in both Google and Bing searches. You need a number 1 in the report or you have wasted your valuable time.
Remember it is preferable to get a page 1 in low traffic than a page 5 in big numbers.
To win the war use Keyword selection
Conclusion
You will improve your content by building assets around it.
It starts with Keyword selection to provide you some chance of being read in a busy market. There are a couple of million blogs written every day and on every subject therefore you must be smarter than the average writer.
Then you must write for the reader and solve a situation as eloquently as you can.
Remember the more they like you the greater the chance of gathering a following and creating your own traffic.
With effort comes success.
Best Ways to Improve Your Blog Content by Peter Hanley

Thank you , for your recommendations to be able to build a quality blog. Blogs are written in order to answer people’s questions so I must focus on this notion if I am to obtain the results that i require. I have a purpose in writing and must continue to improve in my writng skills as quality is noticed and respected. I research and use Jaxxy to find key words but are often confronted with the question, “how many key words should be used in my article?: Perhaps you can enlighten me more on this particular subject as it tends to be more confusing. Is it possible to have too many key words in your article even if it is written in such a way that they are not noticble?
As long as you use keywords only once and they are appropriate to the text or content around them there is evidently no limit. In fact, I am using it more and more all the time because of Google AI searching and trying to find the right selection to please them.
The main Keyword I generally use a few times following the directions of Yoast
regards Peter H
I have started using many more keywords however only used them once around appropriate content. My Main Keyword I follow Yoast rules and about one every three hundred words however on the light side more than heavy use.
Your leading keyword should have competition no greater than 50 and traffic over a 50 score on Jaaxy.
The lower the competition the greater the chance to rank.
Thanks for the question
