Here Peter Hanley guides you on the best way to make money in today's world without wasting time and dollars on scams and gambling.
Making money is the need of all but the success of few.
I just Googled this subject and got so many answers that my mind exploded.
I researched some and laughed at the suggestions but everyone has an opinion so I let it go.
The internet is full of people wanting to take your money and give it back a little in return.
I have been in many schemes and spent enough money to fill a cabinet with training courses but my biggest regret is wasted time.
I will agree that the learning experience has had some benefits, in particular, proving that you really do need some experience to have any chance of success
Decide a direction to start an online experience.
If you have no idea that is not a problem it will come to you by the end of this short blog. If you understand a direction then I will help you get a pathway to success.
The internet is so chock full of opportunities that you can not do them all. My advice is to concentrate on a single objective until you stop the wheels spinning and get some traction.
Here are a few topics for the money trail.
- Online shop or sales outlet
- Multi-Level Marketing
- Affiliate income
- Writing books, or eBooks
- Blogging for money
- Social media
- Making and selling videos
- Audio blogging
- Training and coaching
- Developing lessons and education
- SEO for business
- Advertising for others
OK, that's about enough for now and I hope you fall into one of the channels. Each channel has a myriad of internal opportunities that you can dig even deeper into. I will use social media as my first example because everyone is interested in it, there are lots of opportunities and it is not too deep a subject.
Social media opportunities for everyone
Wikipedia
Social media is an interactive computer-mediated technologies that facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks.[1]The variety of stand-alone and built-in social media services currently available introduces challenges of definition; however, there is some common feature of sharing.
Urban dictionary gets pretty close to a Social Message
Social media can be best described as:
Facebook-I like doughnuts
Twitter-I'm eating #doughnuts
Instagram-Here is a polaroid-Etsy photo of doughnuts
Foursquare-This is where I eat doughnuts
YouTube-Here I am eating doughnuts
Myspace-Meet the Up-and-coming band, ‘doughnuts'
Linkedin-My skills include doughnut eating
Pinterest-Here is a recipe for doughnuts
As you can see there are many parts to social media and you can't master them all.
I find many businesses just can't find the time to do them properly and a half site is not a good site it turns people away.
This is your opportunity.
Laughing, as we do on some social media, it also works marvelously well in many situations.
It will drive a business or personal empire and make you a millionaire quicker than any other form of activity. Legal, ethical and less time-consuming than most available ways forward.
Which is the best social media to concentrate on?
The internet world changes regularly so you need to be ahead of the change so today I will give you two opportunities.
Instagram and YouTube, no, I joke not so let me tell you why.
YouTube searches now closely resemble Google in quantity with the song Despatico hitting over 30 million views a month and ASMR a feel-good channel of 8 million a month. This was started by a single girl as something of interest.
Show me the money you shout!
Ok, have a look at Lilly Singh's us$10 million a year in income.
As the only woman on the list, Lilly Singh is one of our favourite YouTubers of all time. She produces sketches, music videos, and a whole range of stuff that have us laughing our effing asses off.
Known as ‘Superwoman', she has 13 million subscribers and over 1 billion views.and
MTV Asia selection
Felix Kjellberg (Pewdiepie) – USD$12m
Everyone knows what PewDiePie does, but no one actually knows what he does. PewDiePie is a Swedish video game commentator, which basically means he talks while playing video games.
Think no one would be interested in that? Well, he has 58 million subscribers on YouTube — officially the most on the platform. PewDiePie has had a series on YouTube Red called Scare PewDiePie, and a book deal called This Book Loves you which sold over 112,000 copies. This guy is living the life you wish you were.
Where is the money with YouTube?
The answer is mostly in sponsorship and advertising other than direct sales. I admit that the top products are music, games, comedy, feelgood, and food and that is the top of the pinnacle.
The story, however, is that Youtube is working and you can be part of it. In the USA less than 10% of businesses are producing YouTube videos, probably due to price and difficulty so there is an opportunity for anyone to do this.

Now we have Instagram as an adventure to wealth
You may not have noticed, but Instagram is moving quickly to be the most popular social program for business.
Instagram is owned by Facebook and is being built as a proper business channel. You can track followers and sell them to anyone but you first need to understand it.
The attached Guide is a great starter training for free
and goes into all levels of marketing.
As an older demographic I did not understand how a few pictures could create a market until I saw the local proof with a couple of small businesses getting incredible growth with this one product. People I am closely related to so I was able to see the start and the ongoing benefits.
Other ways to make money.
Your benefits with Instagram
It is relatively new compared to many others
Online Products
They are actively building a business product
The young got it then the older followed, looking for family photos.
Tracking is built into the product
It is not overrun with rubbish.
So there you have it, an opportunity begging for you
Do affiliate marketing the right way
Is Affiliate marketing any good?
It is one of the best places on the Internet to start a business.
You don't need any money, or very little anyway.
There is no need to carry stock, debtors, or bill anyone.
You can sell anything, big-ticket or small value, it's up to you.
Furthermore, I like recurring revenue products that when you sell them they pay something to you every month. This way you build a business that can support you and your family in the future. It is no harder to sell than a fixed product and is a gift that keeps on giving.
Like all things though you need a bit of training before you start. I got my start at Wealthy affiliate free training so you can too. PS it's free.
There are literally millions of affiliate products on the market in whatever genre you choose. The difficult part is being selected as you generally must show an aptitude for the business. One of the best known is Amazon, but it does come with some downfalls in small percentage income and extremely tight rules.
Amazon has a heap of training and it is easy to get started but it is also easy to get knocked out of the park if you don't achieve it.
So get a background before you waste your time and money trying this.
Multi-level marketing is not a Pyramid but it sure looks like one.
Nearly all successful MLM companies have been taken to court as being Pyramid marketing setups. With good lawyers and a pocket full of money, most have escaped major sanctions.
It is generally, however, a fact that the higher in the chain the greater the income.
Confession here that I use MLM products. I have Herbalife, Tupperware, Enjo, and maybe a couple of others that don't matter.
The market is based on giving people a commission to go out and sell products instead of spending it on mainstream advertising.
It works and a few make a lot of money but the majority make little.
For every successful promoter, I will show you 20 or more plodders. It is the system.
Yes, you can get wealthy with MLM but it comes down to hard work and a lot of luck.
