Blogs don't have a final close although they can have a classic call to action that delivers them to a payment portal.

With a hundred or so blogs in your armoury the traffic generated should be substantial.

The problem is that blogging is very time consuming. However if the traffic is such, and you close a few deals othen outsourcing blog writing will be an earn for you.

This can also include building your own sales funnel. This is a hard sell medium to a positive result. They certainly work and can get you a lot of business if done well.
