Gotbackup; is the MLM component a worry? Many worry about Multi-level marketing however it is only a small part of the process

Gotbackup does have a small MLM component however it has been tried and tested over many years and fulfils the legal obligations that many are against. It certainly has no effect on the cloud backup service that is better than most on the market.

I write this because I was looking at some reviews on Gotbackup and they contained so much wrong information it was clear they had not looked into the product. The initials MLM (Multi-level Marketing) bring fear into many because of past associations with similar products.

I can agree with this however MLM is often confused, or ranked in, with Pyramid selling which as we know is illegal.

The Gotbackup earnings tier

First up is a payment of 200% of the first month's payment. This is about $22.00 on the family plan.

Next is a 25% commission on each month's payment for the life of the customer.

The MLM component comes in on the next level of customers ts but is limited to only two wide but very deep. You get a 25% commission on your two downlines and their two etc

Finally, a monthly bonus payment is based on an earnings report and judged around a powerline principle.

Therefore the MLM section is an asset to those wanting to build a large recurring income. This has been used in other GVO products for many years and has stood the test of time.

A marketing company or a backup service

It is common with low-cost products to use an affiliate plan to market the idea. The product has a Global reach so advertising could never return a positive result. Using affiliates to sell the product makes the cost fixed and only paid on the results so returns can be budgeted on actual figures.

Many Domain services, backup services and web hosting use this method to encourage more sales.
A good example is Wealthy Affiliate, a web host and training site that has both a long history of success and a large database of uses.

Is support available

The support at Gotbackup is 24-07 worldwide. To do this they have offices in three countries, the US, India and Ukraine to cater for different time zones.
I lodged a non-critical issue at about 6 pm Australia time on a Saturday night and had a satisfactory solution by about 7.30 so this does work.

Is sales literature provided?

Gotbackup Excel in this area.
They provide written emails ready to send out.
Then there are great Social media templates
Pictures for use on blogs and websites
Full statistical information
Finally, the best of all is an included Autoresponder at no extra cost. ( with included templates)

This can keep you marketing for any amount of time

The bad press is based on perception and not reality

Gotbackup is a very good product;
A cloud-based and automated Data backup service
It caters for all devices including mobile phones for families and small businesses.
The cost is very low being under $10
The capacity is quite high with an included 6 terabytes of shared storage ( equivalent to about ten thousand full-length movies)
Upgrades are available at any time in 2-terabyte chunks if you need it.
Full data security and encryption are employed and they have a three-backup tier, the last being external.
The company is fully funded and has a 20-year track record in marketing and support

Is Gotbackup competitive with the market?

Price wise Gotbackup lead the market in cost per byte. Furthermore, they offer access to all devices for multiple users with shared capacity.
iCloud is a similar price but caters for a single device and Dropbox is much dearer overall.

The basic family plan has it all.
6 terabytes of storage. 6 users on the plan and they can have multiple devices all syncing together.
File sharing is available and access can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Ideal for the traveller or home worker.

How big is the Gotbackup market

First of all, nearly everyone has a computer of some kind. They are mechanical devices and this is subject to failure.
Next, the mobile phone market is 6 billion users most with full notice on the screen.
DropBox has over 700, 000 subscribers so they lead the market.
Therefore there is no limit to growth prospects

Are there any downsides to Gotbackup

Of course, nothing is perfect.
Because they launched in April 2023 they have a heavy focus on recruiting marketers and less on the actual product.
Some see this as a problem but I believe it will even out over time because the product is so good and that is where they earn the money.
They have already increased capacity to cater for a million users and this should not last all that long.
People hate the MLM concept unless they are part of it, and then it is a love affair with increased earnings.

I have stripped away any thoughts of negativity and given a straightforward version of what is available so you make your mind up on facts and not imagination.
Yes, I am a member because Gotbackup offers real value and only in the case of Data loss will you really believe this is necessary.
