Emails, newsletters, surveys, integration, autoresponders and training will cover most of the daily products.
Email marketing starts with a list

The fact is you can't just email anyone, however you can email everyone you have a relationship with.
That's pretty wide-ranging but the laws change in every country with opt-in and double opt-in rules.
List-building takes time.
If you are retail you have a list, if you are on-line you build a list and if all else fails you buy one.
For the sake of this exercise let's presume you have your own list.
Is email marketing overdone?
Email is growing every year with many more users being introduced. Marketing is still very popular and with on-line shopping, in a growth cycle, more volume will be achieved.
The real trick is to have your email read and acted on.
On any given day, most of our email inboxes are flooded with a barrage of automated email newsletters that do little else besides giving us another task to do on our commutes to work namely, marking them all as unread without reading, or unsubscribing altogether.
But every now and then, we get a newsletter that's so good, not only do we read it, but we click it, share it, and recommend it to our friends.

How do you send emails?
Sending emails is no mystery, we have all been doing it for 45 years or so (well I have anyway) since the original invention by Ray Tomlinson in the late 60s
They can be sent from a computer-based system, a retailer or a bulk sending portal.
Since we are looking at bulk emails we shall draw down on the main companies. Mail Chimp, Sendin Blue, Get Response, A Weber, Drip to name a few of the better-known ones. Over time I have tried and dropped many of them because they don't continually meet a standard.
Mailing is a chore that must be done if it is made hard it will go in the back burner of things to do.
I want it easy, now and often.
Why I settled on Constant Contact

I send out emails most days, I have a relatively small list (<20,000) however it is well segmented into a variety of customer target groups.
Over several years Constant Contact has delivered 100% of what I wanted without fault.
This includes many Auto Responders, regular newsletters and surveys.
My biggest concern with email companies
If you email anyone they have an immediate right to respond.
- They can ask to be taken off the list and unsubscribe.
- Recipients can report it as Spam. not good.
- Many will ring and complain to the carrier and you will get the blame.
- Some will email you with a response which can be rude.
When you receive too many complaints your carrier will drop you like a hot potato.
I recently decided to use MailChimp to try them out. I used the exact same procedures as I had been using for sometime.
In my second email, someone complained that they had not subscribed to me, one person 500 emails and I was banned.
All recipients have been taken from my list, however, MailChimp boldly branded the product creating a problem.
Complaints are not always real
Complaints are strange things and not always real. When someone Opts-out they are generally asked why and given a few pre-typed reasons. I had one that stated he had not given permission or asked for emails. Then I got a slap on the wrist from CC so I checked the history. The gentleman had been receiving and opening emails for over 6 months and one day spat it. However, a complaint is a complaint and you can do little about it.

We all do spam, it is how it is handled that makes a difference

If you send enough emails you will surely offend someone at some time. Constant Contact has a mature outlook on this and works on average.
If your spam count is high, do something about it because no one will tolerate it.
You are in the driver's seat and the police are watching so follow the rules.
Does Constant Contact have a free version?
They do offer the first month for free and then go into a paid plan. Pricing is not the cheapest on the market and is designed around consistent marketing.
However, they do have a referral plan that gives you a discount upfront. This works really well because we both get a bonus and then you can share it again to double up.

Recording at Constant Contact
The recording is really important to your plans and must be given a bundle of attention. I often email a small group and get results before doing a bulk mail. If it is not working we can change it.

Every batch will be different but the aim is the same as you look for great results all the way through.
With each sector, you can look at who participated and present a new action.
The above example got three clicks but it is a $20,000 product so if I rang them and achieved one sale I am miles in front.
Similarly, it got 512 open or slightly interested parties ready for the next great offer to go by email as I work them down.
5-star rating and no spam content
I really do like Constant Contact because it is easy, reliable and forgives easily. Not cheap like some but it continues to outperform anything else I have tried.
When I say it's not cheap it is a reflection on the fact they charge per subscribed email, not the volume sent. This is important because email should be consistent and often to achieve results
The templates are easy to load and consistency can be maintained.
If you are sending information your branding is something that will get your email opened.
If people don't instantly recognize you the click will send you to the dust bin.
Conclusion
Short and sweet, constant contact is for everyone that wants to send bulk emails.
Begin with your free bonus, start spending and make results about dollars earned.
Consider long term earnings as your payment to acquire a new customer.
