Google has a term that it falls back on to determine where you sit in the hierarchy.
It is AUTHORITY. You need to display a knowledge of your offer that is better than the others.
If you were promoting medical supplies, as an example then every Doctor will outrank you because they possess the magic.
Therefore you must play in a field that you can win.
The easy and hard ways to find customers
Let's face it the easy way is to pay for traffic and hope that you get enough business to justify the expense. However, that is out of the depths of many of us so we resort to free traffic.
Find your perfect customer.
Build an Avitar that suits what you are promoting. It may be sex, age, ethnicity, Country, interests etc.
All Social media channels have a focus group that makes up a majority of the customers.
Instagram is for Women aged 20-55 wanting Clothes Skin care and beauty products. Trying to sell them Barbques is a hard push.
Twitter is more educated and TikTok for under 20-year-olds.
Of course, these are generalisations but they are taken from data.
Facebook still has the largest following even if they are trying to destroy it.
Let's not forget YouTube as a massive source of interest.
My point is to understand your customer when building your dream and target them.

You may get affiliate income, sales commissions, a share of profit or other sources of payment.
However, advertising revenue can form a big part of your money flow. Simply allow others to place advertising
on your page or post and get paid a commission. This is real money for nothing.

When customers trust you
It may take a while to build a trust factor which is a very important part of the ingredient. However, once you have it they will come back and buy more and more making the whole channel a greater success.
This is generally a three-stage process;'
- You must become known to them
- Then they need to like you
- and finally, trust you and continue a long and positive association.
