WordPress makes building websites so easy that anyone can do it. OK, you have heard that old saying before however in this case it is true.
Websites can actually be built in thirty minutes without any sort of programming experience.
However, that is the cart before the horse because you need a couple of important things before you start to play.
When your Domain host gives it all for free
It all starts with a Domain name, that is your www. your site name.com Sometimes now it is more generally referred to as Html:// your site name .com
Picking a name is easy however it must be exclusive to you and no one else in the world can have it, well sort of anyway.
The www stood for World Wide Web and they added .com ( commercial) to signify it was a business site. They soon ran short of commercial sites so .net (network) or .org (organisation ) were added.
Next was a recognition that the web would extend outside the US so they added a country code to signify what country you wanted to play in. www.yourcompanyname.net.au ( Australia)
Now, this gets confusing because all of a sudden your same name can be in many places at one time.
Company.com or maybe company.net then again company.com.au.
A domain costs about $20 a year depending on the type and is paid every year.

Next up is a web host
Having chosen a domain name you need someone to host it for you. The host will supply all the infrastructure that you build your great product on.
There are thousands of Hosts all around the world and like anything else you have Good, not-so-good, bad, and really bad ones. Believe me, I have been burned along the way trying to go cheap and nasty and lost all my work. Not a good experience.

In fact, their whole model was established like that however they have now found they make more money going direct.
Yes, Amazon is still there and is a good training ground however commissions have been reduced so low that unless you establish large volumes you make little return.

Every part of the site is run by blocks, headings, paragraphs, images, and lists. Just about anything you can want to do.
You pick a block from a list and fill it in with whatever you want to achieve.

Affiliate marketing offers opportunities that can not be equaled anywhere else.
There is no limit to the income you can generate working from home or anywhere else.
However, jumping in feet first and trying to wing it just won't work. Believe me, because I did it and understand failure, is a bitter pill to swallow.
Doing research and gathering information so you know where your journey will take you is the only way.
